My Mission
I believe every home is a personal sanctuary. When I clean, my intention is to foster a place where the mind, body, and soul can relax. There's nothing like walking barefoot across clean floors, and looking across the room to see cherished items beautifully displayed on a dust-free shelf.
About me
My story
In the early 2000s, I divided my work-time between my job in the supplements department at a food co-op and doing therapeutic bodywork as a licensed massage therapist. When the opportunity to add house cleaning to my list of jobs appeared, I took it, managing this trio of roles for over a decade until I transitioned to full-time work at the co-op. However, the cleaning bug never left me, and I continued keeping my own house clean with the same techniques and regularity I had used for my clients. After moving to Winthrop in 2022 and leaving my long-standing employment at the co-op, I found the chance to offer my services as a housecleaner again, which led to the creation of Nested Owl.
I love many things in life. The Methow Valley and "habitable spaces" have topped the list for many years. I appreciate all types of homes—small, large, simple, dramatic, old, new, rustic, modern. I’m fascinated by their energy and potential. It seems to me that when anyone engages in house cleaning—a place where people unwind, share meals, dream, and nurture families—they are refreshing the energy. For me, cleaning and clearing are foundational for a clear mind and a positive outlook!

I would love to talk about your cleaning job
I can work with you to focus just on certain areas, or tackle the entire space. I can provide a deep clean, or a light and basic clean. I charge by the hour at $50 per hour, and am happy to work with a time limit, to stay within a budget, if necessary.
My business is backed by a solid liability insurance policy. And when I come to your space to clean, I bring all of my own tools, unless you prefer I use yours. I always clean carefully and gently, but I also do thorough work.
